We are really excited to announce a fabulous new partnership with Versapak International Ltd. www.versapak.co.uk
At Heart Felt Tips, we supply schools, clubs and faith centres with empty pencil cases. Each child is given an empty pencil case to fill with new and/or good quality recycled stationery. These schools/clubs are then linked by us with a local foodbank or children’s charity who distribute the filled pencil cases to disadvantaged children in the area. This not only helps children with provisions for school but also creates a connection between the school/club with the charity they are supporting. The hope is that this relationship will help the foodbank/charity for the future and will also be helpful in aiding the school to educate their children about those less fortunate in their area and how they can help.
Heart Felt Tips was set up by artist Jeremy Houghton and is now run by his sister Susanna. The main expense over the years has been the empty pencil cases themselves and we are so excited that Versapak contacted us with their generous idea of using half an hour a day at the end of each day to make pencil cases from left over product material. Each pencil case is therefore original, colourful and hard-wearing.
In addition, Versapak share our ethos of recycling and repurposing useful materials to help the environment and save money. All Versapak bags and pouches are reusable over 2,000 times and their T2 security seals are 100% recyclable and made from recycled plastic.
We can’t wait to supply our first school with these beautiful pencil cases and get them filled and out to children in the UK in time for the summer holidays and the start of the autumn term.
#schools please get in touch if you are able to fill some pencil cases.
#foodbanks #childrenscharities let us know if you need any filled pencil cases.
